BST Pro Mark is introducing a video web inspection system, the PROScan 3000. With the incorporation of the company’s unique virtual repeat technology, the PROScan 3000 is able to allow the operator to see the entire print repeat in thumbnail images, and to quickly and easily move around the repeat. With the optional second camera or back strobe, the ProScan 3000 also allows the operator to fully inspect front, back and front-to-back prints in a variety of ways. The PROScan 3000 offers superior picture quality and image detail; this is achieved with a 3-chip CCD camera that allows for 3 x 440,000 pixel resolution. The PROScan 3000 also features many “Smart System” functions including: quick zoom, color-to-color comparison, positional memory with position gallery and comb-scan, and spilt screen and auto constant scan (ACS). It is suitable for use on a wide range of web printing presses and web widths—offset, Cl flexo, in-line flexo and rotogravure.
